The very first post...Onward to Alaska
And now why in the world do I need to start another blog post when I have so many? I guess as we all have many facets of life, travelling is something that I love and yet couldn't do on many occasions. And when there are some occasions that I do travel either for business or pleasure, I just got lazy.
I should have done this for the Nepal trip which is a bummer because I thought that I can remember a lot of things but in the end, what's left of that trip is a poster of all photos from Michelle, Siow Leng, Petrina and yours truly. Is it really a total wipe out? Not exactly as the photos I got from the trip is pretty amazing (yes I am being self indulgent here)
So that got me back to the present as the regret of the past has spurred me on to the future.
And I do have another reason: The 'Travel Thru' The Lens' (T3L) series. By the undeserved favour of God, T3L will become a success, a very very GOOD success.
As any trips and spoken by so many photographers, is to do some research on the places one is to visit. And the best place to start is the flight itinerary. Here's what I got...
Singapore to Taipei, Taipei to San Francisco: 8 hrs in Transit from 3pm to 11 pm.
San Francisco to Taipei to Singapore: 10 hrs in Transit from 6 am to 4pm
And these two tells me something: I need to get out of the airport. Time to check with Dad
Next thing is even more ridiculous. I do not have the travel program for the whole trip. Gosh talk about efficiency in the Wong family -_-". So my lightning quick mind tells me, hey it is Princess Cruises, look at their website.
OK. I am at San Francisco on the 8th at 8 pm and the boat will only leave on the 9th at 4 pm.
Another day at SF. Hmmm....should I get the iPad? hahahahah.... nah...Android Man...means Chrome Slate. I am a guy, I don't need pads.
So here goes and the possible places we can go:
- Taipei
- SF

And before I go, the Homeland Security is really a great joke. Just google Electronic System Travel Authorisation (ESTA) and the very first thing that Google did was to push a fake website to the top of the search result. And Google can still say it is being attacked by China when a fake website just reside so easily in its search result? Nuff said about Homeland Security. It is a disgrace.
